Another Birthday?

Have I mentioned how much I love the Artbooking cartridge? I used to it to make a birthday card for my brother last month, and I am really pleased with how it turned out!

I used a black 5 x 7" card base, and cut a 4.5 x 6.5" mat out of white, then inked it with my Tin Can Prima chalk edger. For the star overlay and swirls, I believe I set the dial to 8", and for the presents I set the dial to 5" and selected "Real Dial Size." For the stamped sentiment, I simply cut a small strip of white paper, then used the stamps from My Craft Spot's Inside & Out set. The stamped stars are from one of the stamp sets you receive when you purchase the Artbooking cartridge.

For the inside of the card, I again cut a white mat, but added some of the Bo Bunny Wild Berry Double Dot paper that I used for the gift stack for a little pop of color. The cupcake frame is the 4 x 6 photo frame that is part of the Happy Birthday layout, as are the words "happy birthday."

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
